OUR MISSION IN ACTION
Founded to move youth from training to income.
Jacinta, a 24 year old, who graduated in 2025 is now employed at a salon where she earns about 8$ – 10$ per day. Her journey highlights how skills training can create income opportunities, independence, and a pathway out of vulnerability.
Lindtech Educational and Empowerment Foundation (L.E.E.F) was founded in 2024 in response to the growing challenge of youth unemployment in Eastlands, Kayole slums and surrounding communities. In this area, many young people aged 18–35 remain unemployed and unable to meet their basic needs, despite their strong willingness to learn, work, and build better futures. The core challenge is not lack of potential, but limited access to technical training, certification, startup tools, and the support systems required to transition into income-generating opportunities. This prolonged idleness has also contributed to wider social challenges, including increased crime, drug and substance abuse, commercial sex work, teenage pregnancies, and rising HIV/AIDS infections.
Lindtech Foundation exists to change this reality.
